BYD Partners with Kathmandu Chronicles to Offer an Immersive Cultural Journey

BYD has joined hands with Kathmandu Chronicles, an innovative initiative designed to take participants on a journey through the history, culture, and heritage of Nepal.

Organized by MCube Nepal and hosted by Marriott Kathmandu, the event brings MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) partners out of the boardroom and into the city’s living heritage.

At the heart of the experience are three of Kathmandu’s most iconic landmarks—Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath. Participants, divided into teams, travel in BYD vehicles, solving riddles and completing tasks at each site. The combination of exploration and problem-solving transforms the city’s historic spaces into an engaging, hands-on learning environment.

The journey begins at Marriott Kathmandu and concludes at Fairfield by Marriott, where the team that successfully completes all challenges is recognized as the “Kathmandu Experts.” Each stop along the route offers opportunities for teamwork, cultural discovery, and a fresh perspective on the city’s rich heritage.
